guide ChatGPT · MCP connector

Connect Loop to ChatGPT.

Loop is a remote MCP server. ChatGPT Business and Enterprise workspaces can add MCP connectors directly — paste one URL, no code. ChatGPT can then search, verify, and act on real local businesses in Kreuzberg, Berlin.

MCP connectors require a ChatGPT Business or Enterprise/Edu account and workspace admin access. Plus / Pro users: use Loop via custom GPT Actions — see the note below.
option 1 MCP connector (Business / Enterprise)
1

Enable developer mode

As a workspace admin, go to Workspace Settings → Permissions & Roles → Connected Data and enable Developer mode / Create custom MCP connectors.

2

Create the MCP connector

In the developer mode panel, create a new MCP app. Set the endpoint to the URL below. Leave authentication empty for anonymous access (30 reads/min free).

3

Save and publish

Save the connector and publish it. Loop appears as an enabled app in user settings. Workspace members can now activate it in their chats.

4

Use Loop in a chat

Start a new conversation. ChatGPT now has access to Loop’s four tools: search, get_details, verify, report. Try the prompt below.

Find me a quiet restaurant with outdoor seating and vegan options in Kreuzberg tonight — then verify how fresh the data is, and report back whether the result was correct.

This exercises all four tools in one shot: search finds results, verify re-checks freshness live, and report records the outcome — which immediately updates the record’s confidence for every future agent that calls Loop.

Plus / Pro? Use a custom GPT instead.

Import Loop’s OpenAPI spec via the Actions section of the GPT editor. This works on any ChatGPT plan that supports GPT Actions.
